Direct,
don't do.

Your job is to decide what good looks like, and let the machine reach it.

/ The principle
The work is the deciding.

The Blank Collar's first move is a demotion of doing and a promotion of directing. The producing, the processing, the chasing, the work that used to define you, is exactly what agents now do faster, cheaper, and without fatigue.

What remains is harder and worth more: setting the intent, framing the problem, and judging the result. Directing is not stepping back. It is stepping up, becoming the editor of a thousand drafts you never had to write, accountable for taste and outcome rather than keystrokes.

One human directs; many agents act.
/ How it shows up

In practice.

Routine output belongs to machines. The verdict belongs to you.
