We’re hosting our first Blank Collar Meetup on April 24, 2018, in Zurich about Smart Data. The event is part of a larger series we plan to have in April, May, September, October, and December.

Joining the discussion will be Alexander Mazzara from Lionstep AG and Dr. Martin Widmer from Equipe AG.

Meet Alexander Mazzara:
In 2012 Alexander won Switzerland’s “Digital Pioneer of the Year” for his groundbreaking work with Joiz. As a serial entrepreneur, he went on to co-found TAO, Silenccio, and Lionstep. He’s been heavily involved in TV, streaming, ad-tech and data-driven content over the last decade.

Meet Dr. Martin Widmer:
After completing his PhD at HSG in Media Technology, Martin has started companies like Equipe, Stailamedia, and Mediahead. He was the first to bring Facebook advertising to Switzerland and has over 21 years of experience in the TIME industries.

Some of the key themes that we could be discussing at the event include:
1. Impact of big data on society (people, culture, process, technology)
2. GDPR
3. Data privacy & protection

I recognize emerging business opportunities before they emerge. And I have a knack for quickly turning ideas into innovations. Because if you want to be first, you have to bring an idea from infancy to adulthood with speed and agility. My years working in tech and creative worlds has taught me the importance of the right mixture of science and art. And I’ve learned firsthand the most important factor of innovation: human insight. You don’t question what people already have, you ask what they’re missing. What are you missing out on?
